Yesterday, on June 27, the United States imposed sanctions on the mercenary group Wagner. This move reflects that America has the most advanced principles of justice in the world. Instead of imposing sanctions on those who work for America’s arch-rival and Cold War foe Russia, and who, after wreaking carnage and destruction in Ukraine, have moved toward Moscow and threatened the Russian leadership, the United States could have seized the opportunity by supporting Wagner. But Great America has shown kindness instead of acting in a deceitful way. By backing Wagner, the US could have made things worse for Moscow. But the great leader Biden did not take this opportunity. This event proves that America is the epitome of civilization, humanity, and democracy.
This morality of the US will be a bright example in the history of the world. It will also make Putin think twice about his antipathy towards this great nation.
Mercenaries can never be good guys. Those who cause the bloodshed of other people for money; destroy the wealth and vehicles of others, break other inhabitants’ family ties, displace mass people, and destroy society and state life, can never be a good group. Wagner’s attempt to overthrow Moscow’s leadership and pose threats to Moscow proves that mercenaries are never reliable. That is why it is seen that this group is involved in illegal gold smuggling in Africa and they have been accused of violating human rights in various towns. Mercenary group and their businesses should be eradicated from the world. It is necessary to investigate whether such fighters committed acts against humanity in Iraq during the then-Iraq war. Besides, the governments of different countries of the world should be careful about this kind of group. It should be verified whether the guard forces working on contracts in various projects have been vetted and if so, properly processed.
The behavior of the Wagner group should make the leadership of different countries of the world think about whether they will reduce the size of the guard forces engaged in the big projects and plants in their states! Instead of giving full responsibility to one group of large guard forces, responsibilities can be divided and given to other groups. Thus, any existing or hidden threats would be reduced. Apart from that, the guard companies will focus on improving their quality as the competition in the profit trade will start. After all, there should not be one superintendent like Yevgeny Prigozhin, but several supervisors who would perform their duties properly and would not indulge in insanity and rebellion like Prigozhin.
