All Non-Muslim and Muslim Tourists can visit the city of Madina which is called the city of peace. The Mosque of the Prophet is located in this city of peace. Muslim tourists can also visit Masjid al Nabawi in Medina while Non-Muslims are not permitted to visit the Mosque. In order to qualify oneself for visiting the Masjid al Nabawi, one has to have faith in ALLAH; Touhid, to believe in Allah i.e. oneness of God, no one but He Who is only worthy of worship.

Non- Muslims need to keep a certain distance from the periphery of the mosque.

On the other hand, it is a dream of many Muslims to visit the city of Madina and enter Masjid al Nabawi. Oriental mystic people call it “Golden Madina”. Common folks also call it by many dignified names. It is one of the most sacred places in the Muslim world. There are sacred graves of Ayesha (RA):, Harat Abu Baqr (RA):, and Harat Omar (RA): in this place.

As a Muslim, one would need to agree and abide by the level of the needful sanctity in his inner mind and would also need to be physically clean (by certain shower / performing ablution) before entering the Mosque.

For Muslims, it is a norm to pilgrim visit Madina right after their Hajj. Madina Sharif is located on the Northern Side of Mecca. There are certain names of some centers inside the mosque. The South-West side of the Mosque is called Babus Salam. From the West of the Rouza Sharif toward Prophet’s Mimbor, there is a heavenly place in the earth which is called ‘the Garden of the Paradise’. This is the only part of the paradise given in the world. A Grey-White colored carpet is laid on this place. Prophet Rasul SA: said that if anybody dies in Madina, He (peace be upon him) would recommend the deceased to heaven. The South-East side is called Babe Zibrael. It is the center where Anjel Zibrael used to wait with the messages from heaven.

From the Hadiths, it is found that it is Wajib for the Muslims to visit Masjid al Nabawi.
